Finally! The details have been announced. The Nintendo Wii will launch Nov 19th in the states for $249.99.

Woohoo! I'm going to be heading out to gamestop asap to reserve one.

I'm probably one of the few that are this excited about it, but anyone else here?

I think I might pick one up because you can download old NES games. Tecmo Bowl and Bionic Commando, woot!

Now if some good new games come out, I'll definitely be sold!

haha yeah PS3 is not on my to-buy list and won't be on there anytime soon.

The Wii comes with a Wii Sports game, which is pretty cool, it'll help get you acquainted with how gameplay works.

And one of their launch titles is LOZ: Twilight Princess so yeah :huge: I am going to be a very happy person come Nov 19.

I would be really surprised if LOZ: Twilight Princess will be a launch title. They said the same thing about LOZ: Ocarina of Time and the N64 and we know how that turned out. :rolleyes:

I can guarantee it's a launch title. They even postponed the game for a year so they could re-work it for the Wii (it was originallly a Gamecube only game).

Can I get in on this? Buy me the Wii and the game too, because LOZ Twilight princess is going to be a launch title. Nintendo will have way too many angry fans if they don't release it after delaying it a year to put on the Wii.

I am with you biodork! I am really excited about the Wii. My bf won't stop talking about how LOZ Twilight Princess is going to be the best game ever.

I love my DS Lite so I know the Wii will be awesome. I've always been a loyal Nintendo fan out of all the consoles.

Oh you got the pink one. I have the white one cuz I got it early, but I really like the black one. What games do you have? My fav so far is Mario Kart.

New Super Mario Bros

Metroid Prime: Hunters

Metroid pinball

Tetris DS


The Metroid games are my bf's (he got the black one) and we share the others. The New Mario Bros is really fun, but so is Warioware. I'm totally addicted.

I'll have to try the WarioWare game...I've never tried any of the wario games.

I also have True Swing Golf, New Super Mario Bros., Advance Wars Dual Strike, Brain Age, and World Championship Poker.

The bummer about some of the games that especially with my bf it feels like we have to get 2 of each game because some of them only let you have one save file (mario kart, etc.).
