Boss is gone for TWO WHOLE WEEKS! YES! NO BOSS TODAY! NO BOSS TODAY! Too bad she left her little minion on the prowl.

My officemate and I have been "without supervision" all week. And will be all next week too. But we still get stuff done. Really.

My boss and his wife, who is the "receptionist," are out on vacation this whole week. The vice president was also out of the office two days this week on a video shoot. It's been more of a hinderance that anything, at least for me, because I'm doing the job of the person they just fired, my own job, and the wife's job (OK, I'm used to doing the wife's job anyway, as she finds it more important to stay at home and clean or cook half of the day). It'll be even more interesting when the only other front office person goes on vacation tomorrow, and I'm stuck up here by myself the entire day.

That really sucks that you have to be doing all those people's jobs and your own. Hang in there.

Ha. I'm getting loads done as well...all the work I'm doing feels less stressful. Although I am 'meticulously' working (REALLY- for the first time in a few days) I actually feel good about it....Things are def. better when she is OUT of my back.

My boss hasn't been here and won't be here much in the next 4-6 weeks. Our facility is closing down and he is busy spending most of his time at the new site trying to coordinate the move and oversee the upgrade of the facility. So it means things are slow but it's nice to not have to worry about someone around all the time. I still work on my projects and when I get to milestones email him the results and he's here once a week to meet and coordinate my projects with other staff here.
