OMG I am getting paranoid!

So today my super was away and I had to send a report to our two MAJOR customers which she normally sends. Well I finished the report and send it. One of the dudes on the other side told me if its okay he needs it before 10 am. I didnt know about that so I apologised and said he will have it before 10 am tomorrow.

And then I realised I made a little mistake on one of our numbers. So I fixed it and sent it out right away citing what the error was.

It wasnt really a calculation error because I checked ten times before sending. Its just that for only one of the line items you had to add an extra number and my boss told me of this before!!!!

Now all this probably makes me look like an incompetent fool. :cry:

I hate it when crap like that happens.

I've done similar things too, and nobody's fired me yet. And I've not noticed any difference in treatment.

Don't worry too much about it. Those things happen especially when you're acting as a backup for someone. You made a mistake so you learn from it. I think you'll just look bad if you keep doing it.

Thanks guys. My boss is not the kind to forget though. Luckily she is away for one more day and I have another chance to send it out tomorrow.
