I'm normally very chilled about relationships/dating. So, why am I so hung up on this French tourist guy I met? Normally, I wouldn't bother sending guys an sms or even to call. But, I've been sending him sms the whole day long! And normally, if I can't get hold of a guy, I'd just carry on with what I'm doing. Not so with him.

Eish, I really am becoming a sucker. Is that better than being blase? Not really caring? There's lots of other guys I can spend time with. I've got millions of friends. It's just that I've pretty much fallen for him. I suck, it's official!!!

he's french. throw all the rules about english-speaking guys out the window (i'm not sure where you're from...)

did you kiss him? this is not taken lightly in france, despite their free-loving reputation. if you kiss a french guy, he basically considers you his 'petite amie.' even if you are really drunk when you do it. they don't take the title as seriously as american guys take 'girlfriend,' for example, but the constant texting and calling, the seductive stares into your eyes, the constant touching... it's how they operate! and it's difficult to resist! the game is totally different. men still actively pursue women in france much more than in the US...
