So the story goes.. over the weekend, I went out with some friends, we're at one of the local Pubs.. and I notice this girl, that I knew from a few years ago, thru mutual friends. We had kissed one night. And I had been interested in her back then. We had run into each other a few times in clubs, and simply said ' Hi ' as we passed each other by, or if I was with our mutual friends we would stop a have a chat for a couple minutes that was it.
I had pointed her out a few times, to my buddies from work.. I was with one that night. I decided to try and get her to notice me rather than approuch her with her friends ( I know, Im weak ) there was a live band, and it wasnt as full-on as a club.. so we made our way to the bar, got a round of drinks and watched the live band, and her dancing in front of the stage of course. Surely enough, she notices me and comes over.. we hug, say ' Hi ' have a chat.. every thing is going nicely.. anyways, the Pub closes at 1am, and she comes up and says " My friends are going to this club.. I dont want to go there, where are you going now? " I reply with " Ok, we're probly going here, you want to come with? " anyways she agrees and comes along.
We get to the next place.. and we start running into a couple people we knew from back in the day, so to speak. She's sitting next to me, we're chatting.. its all good, then a girl we both knew ( there was about 10 of us, we'd all hang out a few years back ) comes up, and starts chatting to me.. we hadnt seen each other, really in about 3 years.. so it was a chance to talk.. so we're chatting away, catching up.. at this point we're all standing, and the girl from the Pub, starts drifting out of the conversation a bit and made the decision to walk off with one of her friends, that did come with us.
So we thought, we'd seen the last of her for the night. Anyways, a hour or so later we run into each other again. She had left the club, gone to another, her friend stayed at the other, she came back only after about 15mins apparently. At this point, me and my friend have lost each other in the club. So myself and the Girl are standing there, talking a bit.. I suggest we sit down in the bar area.. we do. We talk, etc. It was getting late of this point, so what time we were going home came up in conversation.. she went off to check on her friends, that were now at this club and said she'd see me later and said goodbye.. I decide to wait a few minutes to see what happens as I was sending a message to my friends and low and behold, she comes back around the corner and sits down with me.. I suggest I give her a ride home, it was out of my way, but I didnt mind. She says yes.
Long drive home, every thing is going great. We're talking, the conversation is going smoothly, not a problem, we like the same music, etc.. I stop out the front of her place, and instead of jumping out, she sits theres for probly a good 15mins talking to me.. so as shes leaving I ask if I could grab her cell number, she gives it to me.. and I ask if she has mine. And she does, still after 3 years. I should have kissed her.. idiot.
All night, and the entire car ride home, Im getting the impression she likes me. And so were my friends.
The next morning, I get a text message on my fone, thanking me again for the ride. I reply with the usual " no problem " or whatever I wrote.
After all my friends giving me a hard time about not doing something.. and making sure I dont miss out.. I decide a few days later to send her a message, seeing if she wants to do something later in the week. And I get a " I'll have to get back to you, its my friends birthday "
What should I do? Wait.. ? And if she doesnt get back to me, I guess you win some you lose some.. Or is she just getting shy, she is quiet or making me hang on. I dont know what to do, because she makes me feel great, Im calm and confident when Im around her, she's gorgeous. And since the other night, I cant stop thinking about her.
