Anyone used sublet.com? I need to find a short-term rental between my current hellhole and the condo I hope to buy in several months, and craigslist has not been kind to me (sick of weeding out the wackadoos!) Any other leads on good sublet sites would be greatly appreciated. . . .

I've looked around there but you have to register and I think pay to get the real address/contact information. Whackos are everywhere.

wanna move to Austin? I got it for nine more months. you can rent my place from me...I am going to be on the road a lot the next 18 months for my company, but I plan on relocating up to KCMO or lawrence to be close to the company hq for when I can get a supervisor or investigator position...

Might be a nice change of scenery but the commute from Austin to Manhattan would be a real bitch!
