I am "between jobs". It's out, finally. Only my next door neighbour knows. And now, QLC. Well, I think that I'm between jobs, am not sure. But, experience has taught me you either know you've got a job, or you know that you don't. There's no middle ground.
I don't feel like doing the whole job hunt thing. I get up in the morning, stay away from my flatmate who doesn't know I'm in this pickle and act as though I'm working. Friends think I'm working from home! Oy vey.
Went for an interview today. Let's hold thumbs. It's call centre. I hate call centre jobs with a passion. But, it'll pay the bills. If I get it, of course.
Phew. such a relief. now i can sleep better tonight. talking/venting about it.

Well, I had a chat with my current/former boss just now. It seems I'm still on the books, sort of. I'm freelancing. And it's crap.
ill let you know next week whether theres more for you.
Is that boss speak for "We don't need you anymore"???

As usual I am in the same boat. My rommate thinks that I am at work now and doesn't know that I quit my job yesterday so I am hiding out in an internet cafe until 4. At least I am looking for positions even though it sucks. And I plan to stop by a few places today. But hey good luck.

What's so bad about telling people you're out of work?

That's a good question...I don't know actually, I think that some people have the idea that you should work doing whatever can get you cash and they don't understand or agree with the idea of waiting till you find a job that you like. Or at least that is my roommates issue. But I think that I am really dumb to be here lol. Thanks for the perspective. I think I'll go home now.

well, you two have differing philosophies obviously, but as long as you're not skipping out on the rent and bills, I don't see how it's his/her business.
