AHHH I was let go

I am now soo screwed... I was let go for no real reason except that my old company was looking for a way to let people go without having to pay severance... I have NO IDEA what to do since I didn't make enough to establish any real savings... they say I will qualify for unemployment... but damn this definitly throws a wrench into my life right now.

Any peeps in Boston out their who can offer up any job leads in Marketing or Sales, or Advertising, or Account Management or Public relations...Heck I would even consider a receptionist gig...

Call temp agencies in the area:
Robert Half
Venturi Staffing

Both have agencies in the suburbs and in Boston so whatever is closest for you.

The Globe just had major listings over the weekend, there are plenty in all those fields.

What type of sales were you doing? I might have some contacts to put you in touch with (if you havent guessed I live in MA)

so sorry to hear this deavan. i've been there, i know it's scary and COMPLETELY BLOWS. maybe take a day to yourself and then try to dust off and move forward. i unfortunately don't know much about the fields you mentioned, so can't help there. but temping is a good option to fill in the gaps as some have already suggested.
