So I owe my boss 25 bucks. We went out for lunch on Friday (a bunch of us) and thats it came up to and I didnt have cash on me.
How do I pay him back? I just feel awkward saying here your money.

"Hey, thanks for spotting me the other day. It was $25, right?"
Out of curiosity, why didn't you pay with a debit/credit card?

Since there were like 7 of us and one other person didnt pay so my bos just accepted cash from everyone and he paid by credit card.

Put it in an envelope and put it on his chair.

That works. If it makes you super uncomfortable for your boss to spot you the money, you could just have them split your check next time.
It doesn't sound like it was a big deal to your boss, right? If that's the case, then a casual "thanks, here's the money I owe you" should be fine and entirely appropriate.

So I just went up to him and said "I think I owe you some money" and he was like "oh thats right" and I was about to leave and he goes but keep it first time is always on me. I was like "oh are you sure" and he goes "yes my friend"
aww
Too bad I barely get to see him and I am always stuck with psycho moody supervisor.

Um, isn't that what drug dealers say--first time is free? LOL
