-Hey what's up everyone? Curious to know if anyone out there lives or has lived in North Carolina particularly Chapel Hill UNC area?? What do you think of it for someone in their mid 20's to relocate there etc. It's a far off chance but I may get a (tight prestigious) job opp there and want to know what you guys think of the place. Particularly if you relocated there form somewhere else. Thanks.

haven't lived there but a couple good friends went to duke and UNC. i visited while they were there a few times. the #1 complaint was that there's nothing to do there outside of college life. don't know how true that was, but it did seem a little sleepy. beautiful though.

I like it here - been here for almost 2 yrs now. The weather is awesome, and there are a lot of people our age here - three colleges in one area tends to help.:)

Oh, and there is plenty to do here - especially if you enjoy the outdoors, and of course college basketball!

No, I moved here for a job - a position that was difficult to impossible to find in the state I was living in at the time.

I do really like it here, but sometimes I wish I could bring the staff that I used to work with over here and replace some of my current coworkers - hah!

i went to college in NC - about an hour west of chapel thrill.

Chapel Hill is the SHIT! you should totally move there...cool, young people. tons of things to do (bars, live music, great college sports, etc), plenty of singles (if you're single) - and i think north carolina overall is great.

you've got a nice mix of southern hospitality, but it's much more laid back and not backwoods redneck - plus you're a few hours from really nice beaches (the outer banks is great) and really gorgeous mountains on either side. not a bad drive to D.C. or Atlanta - plus other smaller towns like Wilmington, Charleston, etc.

i miss living around there...good luck, but if you end up there i promise there is lots to love about the area.
