You hear it all the time...mistakes teaches you, they should be conisdered opportunities for learning. I never see what im getting myself into until it actually happens. i mean even in the beginning it should have all been clear to me, but i tend to not take notice of things until the big screw up occurs. how can you avoid it if you dont see it, or just dont get it to begin with??? i come to find myself making excuses after excuses for myself as if i lack total self -esteem becuase of the actions (or no actions) that i have taken. A lot of times i played it off, and jsut let it go..but now that my career is going to start soon and im making it there..i am beginning to question myself..have any of you guys felt this? did any of you guys become better at it?? what was it that help you change if there is any?? any feedback will greatly help. thanks

I usually expect things to go wrong, but that's tempered with the belief that I can overcome whatever it is when things do go pear-shaped.

It's a self-fulfilling prophecy - if you think you're going to mess things up, you probably will. Its your life, and it's only what you make of it, so if you want to stop screwing things up - then do it.

You're always going to mess things up. You can't ever totally prevent it. The most you can do is deal with how you react to your mistakes...let them paralyze you, beat yourself up over them, etc....not good. I'm much more fogiving of myself if I screw up these days than I used to be.

I really drive myself to insanity because I really try not to mess up. And it always backfires. It kills me not to be perfect or not be able to do things without messing up. It's the worst feeling in the world to be so hard on oneself. I think allowing yourself to mess up saves a whole lot of stress. Somehow I've got to work on that one..:googly:
