how do you get the career counselor to call you back when you've contacted him several different ways with just 1 short "i'll get back to you" response?" i feel like im trying to get an answer from a company that doesnt want to hire me. story of my last 2 years.

I think you've already put it out there that you're interested, and they haven't bitten-- at least not as quickly as you may've hoped. Your time would probably be better spent looking for mroe promising job prospects.
