Dear 212 & 222,

Look, I get that I should have taken the clue when y'all asked "Do you own dogs?" when I first moved in. At the time, I assumed you were just being curious about poop and thought nothing of saying 'Oh, yeah, 2 mini-schnauzers, don't worry, I clean up after them". A month later, I realize that y'all actually do not like dogs AT ALL.

Now, when I first moved in, I thought I was being courteous by giving you my cell numbers and stating if they ever were too loud(they do like to jump off the beds/couch etc) to call me. Never once have you called. I'm happily thinking that all is right. UNTIL FRIDAY, when I came home to find a "NOISE VIOLATION" from the apt complex that you two have complained my dogs are barking & making noise at all hours of the DAY & NIGHT! Excuse me? First off, we weren't home half the week so how could it be going on all week?!

Secondly, do I ever mention a WORD when you are feeding the stray cats & they poop along the stairwell? Do I? Eh-eh.

Now, I have chosen to be a kind Christian soul & have already spoke to the apartment complex. December 1, I will transfer to a building that is more 'dog friendly' so I can avoid dealing with you directly.

On a slight unChristian note, the City should be calling you because someone :D reported that you have been feeding several stray cats and they are pooping all over building 2's walkways. That's a health hazard, you know:D

You're seriously going to move out of a building that allows pets because somebody else who also chose to live in a building that allows pets is pissed that you have pets?

Yeah, Paige...don't move. That's a hassle for you.

I once got a noise violoation from the tenant below me because my CATS were walking too loud, apparently. I had to laugh, but I went down and talked to her, told her I couldn't help that my cats walk around & it's loud because the building was so shittily constructed, and she was SO HAPPY that I just came & talked to her politely that the whole thing blew over without incident.

222 is directly below me, strictly a cat lady-she is an elderly woman who lives by herself & doesn't ever leave her apartment, from what I can tell. She's lived in the same apartment since they were built in 1999

212, first floor dude, who actually told me "I'm working on a thesis and do not like any noise to interupt it" when I asked if the dogs were really loud. He has lived here since 2002. He actually eats dinner with 222.

Mind you, the guy that I share a common bedroom wall (dogs stay in bedroom during the day) told me he never hears a thing!

So yes, to avoid a wierd battle of tenants, I am happily moving to another building. Because apartment management allowed me to switch without paying a transfer fee, I have a feeling this may be a normal issue with those 2 people.

All I know is that I had downstairs neighbors once who told me that they would prefer it if I didn't walk around after 9 p.m. Unreasonable is unreasonable, and if you have a problem with other tenants doing ordinary routine things, apartment dwelling is not for you.

Yeah, but who's gonna help you move all of your stuff...not to mention re-hooking up utilities and such...

I can understand the old lady complaining, they are like that. But the thesis dude? He should be at the library!

Hahaha, prefer. Meaning: I don't have to fucking do what you want!

A lady who doesn't like dog barking should choose an apartment complex that doesn't allow dogs.

I haven't really moved that much stuff here. I left a lot in Corpus for my bro, so the only big stuff I have is my bedroom furniture & mattress. I'm going to ask maintenance if they are interested in a side job.;):

Seriously, he was the most annoying dude! After he tells me this, I start thinking, his ass is always up at 2 am & stuff, so maybe it's not the thesis he's worried about......

Totally LMAO at this...I probably would have looked at him with a confused look and said "for real?"
