i work at my boss's house, as you may know. The entire house is more of an office than a house. Ok. Fine. Every room (except the room he sleeps in and the 1 usable bathroom) has been transformed into an office, with file cabinets that are all used on a daily basis, computers that are all used by me as I am the only employee except for the pres. of the company. ok. so today my boss asked me to find this file that the other guy who used to work here made over a year ago. so i had to go looking for it in all of these file cabinets because i didnt know which one it would have been in. ok. standard business proceedure. so i go looking for it in the back room (which is also his grandson's play room when he comes over) when i didnt see it up front. so im looking in the file cabinet that is under this tv and what, of all things, catches my eye? a brochure for a penis pump, with a photo of a guy demonstrating how it works right on the front. in my place of business. in my office. in a location where i visit on a daily basis. a brochure for a penis pump. UGH how gross, disgusting and unprofessional! i wouldnt mind it if i saw that at home, if my bf had the same brochure, or whatever, but at work!? in the office?! i was, and still am, utterly disgusted. i have been nothing but professional since i started working here in aug 2005. there is no ... contact like that between my boss and me, nothing, no reason whatsoever why he would "forget" about it and leave it there for me to see. i covered it with the 5-yr-old grandson's video game. (there was nothing else to cover it, but what will happen when the kid finds it?) what do you all think?
