Hi everyone,

First things first: I usually never post on forums. But after reading the QL-Companion and some of the posts here, I felt that I have got something to say.

I've been going through QLC for sometime now. I started grad school a year and half ago and moved to a new city for that. So here I was with no friends, being pushed to my limits at school and with absolutely no time for anything. After a couple of semesters I realized that things will not change if I keep doing the same things. Since that time I've been trying hard to go out, read more and focus on the "big picture", instead of getting lost in the trivialities of day-to-day struggles.

I must say I'm doing better now. It'll be a lie to say that all my problems are over. Now that I've acknowledged that I do have problems, I've been having more problems, but I seem to have the strength to deal with them. I've seen more in about a year and half, than I've seen in my entire life. I've been with asinine room-mates, been broke, lived without a car, feeling inadequate at school. Phew! I also hated to be "that guy" who's trying too hard to make friends (I've recognized now that I used to be very introvertish before, which obviously did now help). But reading the book and the messages here I feel really happy. Very happy.

I hope everyone finds what they are seeking.

Peace.

Kitty

welcome to the boards, T!

if you like debating, then your "usually never post to forums" will change to "i gotta stop coming here so much". ;)
