Credit Card ID Protection

I noticed a bill on my credit card, called ID Protection, that I never remembered signing up for. Of course I call up my credit card company, the first operator knows nothing, transfers me and I end up on hold forever and hang up. Sounds like a scam so I googled it and look at this article.

Could be a new scam from the credit card company, watch out.
