I left my atm card in a machine over the weekend. I called today to see if they have it. They have it, just won't give back. Reason worried about fraud. Ok, I called and it's there, how else would I know that? 2. I offered 2 forms of government issued id. Cleary it is mine right?

But whatever I am getting a new card. I guess I'm saving money since I cannot WITHDRAW anything till I get it.

I would be relieved. And yea, they do it to protect you and just in case someone else might have found the card and copied your number or something.

Yeah, I'd be relieved as well. You can still go to the bank and withdraw money or write checks at least. I've lost my atm card many times and cancel it right away. It sucks that you have to wait for them to mail you a new one, but I just went to the bank to withdraw money if I needed the cash.
