I suggest you start a business that you actually know something about. I'm just being honest here, but it seems like you don't know what you are getting into. You have to have the vision before it becomes reality.

I agree with the above.

A big part of running a internet cafe/gaming center is keeping the hardware running. If you have no idea what to buy, you likely will have no idea how to keep the equipment running. Gamers are a tough crowd and you'll probably want to be able to talk intelligently with them about your choice of hardware.

I think you need a technically competent partner or a different business idea.

Stupid questions (but valid)- are you in the US? If so, is there a market for this type of business?

I was thinking the same thing ;). Also, my stupid question is why would you want to go into business doing something you know absolutely nothing about? I mean, 50% of businesses fail on any given day when the owners DO KNOW what they are doing.

No offense here, but if you have to come onto an anonymous forum to get business advice about what is essentialy the core of your business, you are definitely not ready to start one.

I've seen them in chicago and each and every one has failed. My guess is no there is no real market.
