isn't it innnnnnnteresting that the day after Ciderhill gets banned, this Nixmahn person suddenly shows up, to jack threads with her asininity?

Discuss.

Cider got banned? And I missed it?

Im sorry, I am new here, but I find some of Cider's stuff just plain funny. I am sure that it gets annoying after a while. But seriously, sit back and laugh at the ignorance and hard headedness...

Yep, check out the ADHD thread.

But she's back in all her trollerific glory, have no fear...

I wonder if it might be best to just leave well enough alone (read: ignore him or her)? Also, V, it sounds like you have some history with Cider or whoever you think this new incarnation is-- maybe you should discuss this with him or her privately, rather than over the boards?

I don't think it is, since he/she said he/she was an electrical engineer in Wash., D. C., and cider lives in the boston area and is in real estate. 'Course, people can create stories.

Why was Cider banned?

Not sure...I never really had a problem with Cider...and I thought she was helpful. However, there were a few things she said in recent days seemed somewhat exaggerated. I guess that's something you have to speak with the moderators about.

Why was Cider banned?

It was her posts on the AD(H)D thread. I won't go into details, but once again she assumed that just because she knew a handful of people with ADD, she assumed that everyone with ADD is just lazy and doesn't want to better their lives unless they depend on medication or whatever.

But Cider was just being Cider (or Tankgirly or MOS) and just trying to threadjack once again.

That kind of stinks...I liked her.

I was reading the thread, though, and I have to say that although maybe she shouldn't have made the statements she did, it was only her opinion and people were kind of ganging up on her...someone who isn't a doctor even went as far to say that she was "wrong."

I don't want to start trouble, as I enjoy participating in discussions every so often, however, I always viewed the QLC website as somewhere we can go to discuss our opinions...

I know...I'm as guilty as anyone, and while I might have disagreed with what she said (I don't recall slamming her in the ADHD thread, but in another one), I feel really upset right now over taking part in the fervor (for more reasons than one). If she is reading this post, I apologize sincerely.

Eh, well, everyone is entitled to an opinion. I can understand that people get emotional when others hit hot buttons (which it seems she did) but I think that everyone should still be allowed to state their opinion and be given a chance to defend what they said :)

I know...especially since I should be the last person who should be ridiculing others. Besides, there was a lot of shit I said in the last few months that should have had me banned. I sometimes get caught up in the fervor, and once again, I regret my actions, and ask for forgiveness.

With some of the threads I've seen you make, including the one pisces deleted, your trollishness isnt exactly unquestioned. Dont be surprised if you're next.

You know, I don't make a practice of explaining private moderation decisions, but in the interest of this not going off the deep end with speculation, the poster in question was repeatedly asked not to hijack threads. The ban is temporary. Also, she's done plenty of stating her opinion and defending what she says. Pages and pages and pages worth of threadjacked posts doing exactly that, in fact.

You know, I was thinking it. I just didn't say it...
