For one of my grad classes, we are required to chose a few grants, partner with a school district, and write a grant. I have never written a grant before, and I have already found two that look as though they could be good possibilities.
Has anyone ever had to write a grant? I know it is a time consuming process, but any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated!

I'm a grantwriter with a lot of experience (well, I think!) PM me with specific questions.

Thank you! As my work progresses, I know I will have lots of questions. Just curious...how do you like your job? It seems like an interesting position.

Hilarious! I also have to write a grant for grad school this semester. I'm writing one for some resources for our school library. Any generalized tips, AJ?

There are other aspects to my job but, most days, I honestly like it so much that I would do it for free if I didn't *have* to work. I love it.

Thats interesting to know - I love to write, and apparently that if you are a business education teacher (what my M.Ed will be in) I might have to write these often. According to my crazy professor, that is. Anyway, it seems hard but I think I am going to learn a lot from it. I will definitely take you up on the offer to PM you with more specific questions!

Sure, feel free. . . I'd love to help someone else get into the profession!
