Consolidating private loans

I have a couple of private loans I want to consolidate, but there are a bajillion companies out there to do it. Has anyone here consolidated private loans? any recommendations on companies to use?

Citibank will give you a fixed rate on a private consolidation which protects you from the risk of interest rates going up. However, there is always the chance that the interest rates will go down. They are only one of two companies that offers private consolidation at a fixed rate.
