When you haven't seen someone in a long time...

I have these particular group of girls who I have not seen or talked to in ages, and there was no closer to the ending friendship, it just kinda fizzled out. I was going through a rough time last summer, I didn't speak to them for the entire summer, they knew I was going through stuff, but nobody bothered to see how I was, either way, 1 of the particular girls I wanted to get away from, the others well I would have like to stay friens with. Now they are from my town, and I get soooo nervous that when I run into them I will not have a clue what to say.. what would you all do?

Just be yourself. If you see them, you have two choices:

1.) Be friendly and make some quick small talk or

2.) (and I admit to have done this on more than one occasion) pretend you don't see them and keep walking ahead.

I guess my fear isn't so much me, more that they will yell at me or something.. I am definately guilty of number 2 as well lol

Why would they yell at you? That doesn't sound like rational behavior to me.

well no it isn't rational, but one girl might yell b/c I haven't tried to contact her... or b/c she feels I haven't been a good person... stuff like that.
