I read it, that is what inspired me to post a message actually!

I am engaged and getting married in April. I want to be a wife and mother above all.... I just hope I am not "settling" and giving up my other dreams!

I envy those who have ONE good thing they are good at and MAKE it at.. you know?

And that whole "it takes money to make money" philosophy sucks, and leaves us wayward quarterlifers who don't have rich supportive parents to drift in the winds aimlessly...

If you say "I want to be a wife and mother ABOVE ALL" then you wouldn't be settling. If that is what you want, then go for it, I wish you all the luck and happiness in the world. Be the best darn wife and mother you can possibly be. Take up hobbies...those can be your outside interests because we all know you shouldn't give up yourself to be a wife or mom, just have other interests. All the dreams you think you are "settling" away from can actually become some great pasttimes. Work it all in but prioritize. I envy you that you actually have a chance to go forth with the marriage thing and hopefully will stay happy and healthy. Mine fell apart after two years of trying harder thani ever thought I could. Now, people are telling me to forget about being in a relationship, focus on myself...that is where my QLC comes in. It's so contradicting for my dreams to be involved with being a wife and mother but having people tell me to focus on myself. Maybe I'll figure it out one day :)
