The first paragraph of this article says it all:

Internal memorandums circulated in the Alaskan division of the Federal Fish and Wildlife Service appear to require government biologists or other employees traveling in countries around the Arctic not to discuss climate change, polar bears or sea ice if they are not designated to do so.

Most of what I see and read on global warming reminds me of the movement against smoking many years ago. Remember in the 1970's and 80's and hell even the 90's when scientists where still trying to convince the general public that smoking was bad and the general public kept on thinking they could do whatever they wanted to with no consequences. Tobacco-paid scientist after tobacoo-paid scientist would present findings that smog or other pollutants caused lung cancer too so smoking wasnt any more of a risk than living in LA. Took like 30 years to convice people smoking is bad.

My how history repeats itself. If only we could just do whatever we want without consequence. Man that would be nice. Life sucks though doesnt it. Damn responsibilities to the planet and crap. Ok now I'm just being bitter....
