What to get for my brother's birthday?

Any ideas on what to get my brother for his birthday? He turns 27 on April 18th.

My brother and I aren't very close, so I don't really know what to get him. He's a computer science major and he likes to drink and hang out with friends. That's all I really know. He also likes to try things (he's tried yoga and guitar and stuff like that), but he doesn't put in a lot of effort and gives those things up easily. So I don't know what to get him.

Anyone have any good ideas? I feel bad because I always get him something stupid, but he usually ends up giving me something good (well, expensive, like iPod speakers). I'm really bad at coming up with gift ideas...

Well, since he likes to drink, have you thought about a nice expensive bootle of something?

Or rather than something consumable....why not get him some good beer stein glasses?

if he doesn't already have Netflix, maybe a year's subscription to it? My uncle was going to get me that, but I already have it. It would, however, have been one of his better gifts. . . esp. cause he doesn't see me very often or know what I'm into-- so it would've been 'safe.'
