Who can tell me everything I'd ever want to know about Americus, GA, that I can't find from a Google search (i.e. personal impressions, etc.). Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

There's a book written by some famous journalist called "If I ever get back to Georgia, I'm gonna nail my feet to the ground." Its a semi-autobiographical account of growing up in a small town near Atlanta. I don't remember if Americus specifically plays a role in the book. However, if you're thinking of moving to Georgia, this book might be of interest.
