Did anyone else besides me get hooked. . . and am now sad because it's over for the season??? :(

I'm not sure why I like it so much. . . but I do. I like the music, I like the characters, and I like that it's set in a small town.

I only have three non-nerd shows that I have to watch each week, and this became one of the three.

yep, my friend told me about it and i started watching it online during easter break and I am definitely hooked! I was quite annoyed by last night's episode because nothing really gets resolved. In fact....it went downhill and all the friendships became so messed up. I can't wait until it comes back on again. This is the only non-TBS sitcome show I watch.

I really like Bryan Greenberg, but I can't say that I am hooked on the show yet. And Googlegirl...do you watch My Boys?

I really WANT to like October Road for two reasons:

1. Donna Pinciotti

2. It's written by and based biographically on the guy who did "Beautiful Girls," one of my favorite movies...when he did the movie "Beautiful Girls," it was basically about his hometown friends, and he alienated them by putting their lives on screen in what they felt was a condescending manner...October Road is supposed to illustrate how they reacted after he did well with the movie.

But beyond the pilot and maybe one episode after that, I'm not all that into it, because it seems like a warmed over "Beautiful Girls" to me in some ways. I do love the small-towniness of it. Maybe it will grow on me.

yea, a few episodes. But I never really got hooked. It was ok, but not anything to keep my attention for long. It takes a lot to keep my attention. I'm not even hooked to Grey's Anatomy.

I was kind of hoping that the writers this season would have given us, the viewers, more details about the content of Nick's book and how things used to be in the town as compared to present day. But there's always next season...

I'm hooked on it. The "season finale" came out of left field though. To be honest, I think it got cancelled...unless they only did the show for six episodes. I hope it comes back soon. LOVED the characters. What was up with that finale?

Okay, yeah. . . I didn't want to talk about it at first for all those DVRers out there, but let's discuss. . .

I assumed that the dad that Hannah talked about (was it "Gavin Goddard" or something?) was made up by the way that the kid talked about him. . . but then it was all weird when Nick asked the kid about the pomegranite, etc. on the porch. This whole thing just confused me. . . I guess that was the goal, unless I'm missing something.

I love the married guy who's wife was cheating (made me sick that he had to go through all that). It's going to be really interesting to see how/if these guys come back together after this mess. They can't cancel the show b/c I need to know how this works out. . . ;):

Oh and sidenote--also love the character that's Hannah's friend. I think she's my very favorite. I loved when she twirled and Eddie caught her. Ha!

I also have taken a liking to this show and am not sure why. Is it just me or were there only like 8 episodes? I really enjoy seeing Laura Prepon doing a more mature role. She was way to good for that 70s crap.
