I. Hate. This. Class. It's so full of stupid busywork and bullshit. Ahhhhh! It's business communication, too, so it's full of really tedious stupid busywork and bullshit. How does one become a professor if all one is going to do is overload the class with stupid shit and nonsense work, which serves absolutely no purpose in learning or valid instruction? I'd really like to know. Sounds like a sweet gig to get. Gah!

And it's not that I just don't want to do the work. Really. It's not. Because I really like school, I almost never left school (well, the environment anyhow) and I would quite literally be a professional student if I could. But not with bozo professors who point blank say, gee, I'm not really going to grade anything until the end of the semester and sometimes students get frustrated with my "unstructured approach." Ya think? Really, students have been frustrated with your crappy teaching before? Hmmm. Maybe that's a sign to not SUCK so much.  :frustrate Get a clue!

Here's a sampling of the insanity:

Read every chapter in stupid textbook.
**7 stupid assignments
**3 of the above are group assignments (and of course my group is non-responsive half the time)
**Several "activities" for every chapter (we've read 14 chpts. so far and it's the 3rd week of this class). Yes. Several activities. Not just one per chapter. And these are ALL stupid shit from the textbook (like rewrite this memo that sucks using the "you" attitude. These are apparently supposed to be group activities, which boggles my mind considering it's an online class and we already have group projects to complete.
**7 powerpoints to view
**7 quizzes
**7 or 8 discussion board postings

This class is 6 weeks long. Yes. 6 weeks. I wouldn't mind the workload if it were well-structured and purposeful, but it isn't. I wouldn't mind if we were receiving feedback about what we're doing right or wrong at LEAST twice during the actual semester. But no, we're not hearing boo about anything until the end.

As a former teacher, I am absolutely appalled at the complete and total lack of purposeful instruction going on here. This guy is NOT doing his job. I'd like to write an anonymous letter to the department head and complain because it's ridiculous. I've NEVER been the type to question my teachers or complain about work, but really. This is nonsense!!
