I'll be an MA student in the fall and I'm a bit scared as well. According to my friends who started law school/MA programs, you'll get back into the swing of things. Just breathe. I was looking over some of the work "required" and almost had a heart attack. So, instead of continuing to stress it, I'm going to read up as much as I can to prep myself. good luck

Keep us updated. I'm finishing my master's in 2008 and I've considered going for a PhD, but I have lots of doubts.

I just finished my 1st year of grad school. I am going part-time after working full-time for five years after college. I can definitely relate to the feeling that I have lost brain cells.
Don't be too hard on yourself if your grades aren't good at the beginning, grad school takes some getting used to especially after working for a while. My grades were not as good as they were in undergrad (and this is including that grad school tends to hand out higher marks on average) but they are getting better :)

I second this. I am going back and forth on it. The Ed.D. I would like to pursue is 84 credit hours beyond the master's. Holy geez, that's a lot of work, time and $$$$$. It'll have to mean a sweet payoff.....
