2 months ago I accepted a position. It turns out not to be a good work environment and not a good fit. Should I include it on my resume that I am sending out or not?
I would say don't include it on your resume. Even if it was relevant experience, people are going to get hung up on the fact that you only stayed for 2 months. Employers like to see commitment and I doubt any explanation you gave them would make up for leaving so soon in their eyes. Leave it off your resume but make sure to have a reason ready for that 2 month gap. Probably just saying you were job searching would be fine, 2 months isn't that long.
Good luck and I'm glad you realized the job wasn't for you and only wasted 2 months!

I have a similar dilemma that I am always not sure about. I am living abroad, and getting by teaching English among other things. I worked as an English teacher for a company about a year ago. I was only offered a two and a half month contract, with the understanding that if I did a good job, I would be offered further contracts. Well, it was my first experience in that kind of environment, the company offered me zero guidance, and I know I didnīt do a good job, thus wasnīt offered another contract.
I never know whether I should put this on my resume. At the moment it isnīt on there. On the one hand, it is one of the few non-free-lance jobs I have held in the country I now live in, and the only "official" proof (again, non-free-lance) that I have taught English, which is what a lot of the jobs I am applying for are. But, on the other hand, if a potential employer chooses to contact this company, I am sure they will not get a good impression of me.
I guess the question in both cases is whether "experience" per se outweighs "bad experience". Any thoughts on this?

If you've been there 2 months and it isn't working I say leave it off the resume..just make sure you don't include them as a reference.
If you only had a 2 month contract, then include it. You fulfilled that obligation and weren't required to stay past that. If you did that bad of a job they would have terminated you sooner. You can always put something that says "contract position" at the end of the description.
