....is at my current school! She's a tenth grader now and she ran into my class today and gave me a big hug. Apparently, one of her friends is in my class and she recognized my name on her friend's schedule. It's so WEIRD to see someone I taught three years ago all "grown" up and in high school. It's also weird because the school I taught at then is FAR away from the school I teach at now (in a different county and everything), so I wasn't expecting to see any of my old students (my students last year are only 8th graders now... I'll probably see some of them next year). Man, that is what teaching is all about. What a great moment. :D

By the way, teaching high school is SO. MUCH. BETTER. than teaching middle school. Whew! I don't know how I EVER, EVER taught 7th graders. :p Middle school really is the hardest level to teach.

Everyone I know now who is a teacher teaches highschool and they seem to enjoy it. They also say that 10th graders are great.
