I recently interviewed for a position and got a call back for a second interview. Here's the problem I work 30 miles from it. The first interview was held after hours and now they want to have the second one at 10AM. I could play sick and call off but I just came back from vacation.

I had an interview in the middle of the day like that. I ended up telling my boss ahead of time that I had an appointment, then I went to work that day, left for the interview (long lunch), came back, and finished out the day. It sucked and was a waste of gas, but I didn't want to take a whole day.
