Anyone been to New Zealand? [Archive]

I'm going to NZ in about a month for a work abroad stint, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience there, tips, etc. I dont have a job lined up yet, I was planning on obtaining a seasonal job around Auckland or Wellington...

I don't really have any tips but I went there in middle school (People to People trip) and it was AMAZING. I've been dreaming of going back ever since....I hope you have a wonderful experience!

I talked to my friend about it--

She did something similar as you. She found a temp agency to work for that was a nation-wide company, so she would work in different areas/cities frequently. She said that she did a lot of work in factories & such, and that she always had work when she wanted it. The pay wasn't great, but it was enough to get by.
