How difficult is it to get a job in NY.

I live in CT ( Connecticut) and I am a Junior in college currently. I want to experience life outside my bubble and was thinking NY might be a good place to start. I also want to start a career in the music industry and I know NYC is the spot.
I would think NYC is a hot place for everyone ( because of its appeal) but how difficult is it to get a job there? :question:

I don't know about getting a specific job in music industry in NYC, but general job wise, it's pretty good. I don't know any of my friends who is unemployed unwillingly.
