Just wondering which cooking sites other posters would recommend. I really like epicurious.com, but their recipes aren't always the most practical (from a time or a money perspective!) And allrecipes.com is a little overwhelming. . .

Bonus points if you can recommend a good vegetarian site/blog, as I haven't found any that I'm really that into.

Allrecipes.com is great. You can brose by course type (appetizer, entree, etc) or you can do an advanced search where you can specify that you want to include/rule out recipes by ingredient, or search by "special considerations" which includes Vegetarian.

I second this! I LOVE allrecipes.com. I've found tasty vegetarian recipes, including soups and casseroles there.

I used to subscribe to some magazine that was taken over by Woman's Day. Sometimes I feel like it's an "older lady's" magazine, however, they do have a lot of great, simple recipes in there. Plus I think they also post them online on their website. They often do "10 minute" recipe type articles.

I like Allrecipes, foodnetwork.com, and www.yumsugar.com

YumSugar isn't only a recipe site, but it's a great food site and they often have great recipes.

I like kraftfoods.com

They have a lot of simple/inexpensive recipes, and even though the recipes are branded, you can obviously use whichever substitue you prefer.
They also have extensive search options, which is good.
