Caught doing at work.........

Anyone have any funny stories of things people have been caught doing at work? I just heard a little blurb on the news that some dude was just arrested at his job (didn't hear where it was!) for getting caught having sex with a 92-year-old corpse. Imagine if you were in his shoes LOL!

A company-wide email went out a few months back about someone shoving whole rolls of TP into the toilet drains in the mens bathrooms. Haha, I laugh everytime I think about that. This place is full of rocket scientists and engineers!

EWWWW!!!! So gross.

At my last job, since I was an account executive, I was on the road a lot. The job was kind of a joke, so I really took it for granted...while I never got caught, I definitely did a LOT of things I wasn't supposed to:

- I saw Night at the Museum in the movies with another coworker - best sales call I ever made!
- The usual shopping trips...once to Ikea, which is located in about an hour away
- Usual errands (bank, grocery shopping, etc)
- I knitted a blanket in two weeks when I worked here - I would just come home every day and work on it
- Went home and baked cakes or cooked meals when I knew I would be pressed for time that evening
- Went to the gym, took pilates and yoga classes

The list goes on...all of the staff does it at my old company. One of the groups I used to go to lunch with took a trip to Philly one day for cheese steaks (after I left, or I would have been part of it). We were supposed to report to the office at 8:30am, take care of administrative stuff, then go out selling from about 10am until 3:30ish, come back to the office for about 1 1/2 hours, go home. The funniest part was the base salary was actually decent, so I literally got paid to do nothing. I know how bad that makes me sound...but you definitely had to see the environment to get what I am saying.

Never got caught, but we would have liquid lunches sometimes. One of my former coworkers dodged out to go see Wedding Crashers and then just popped back into work. No one in the office noticed she was gone.



Oooo wait...I did get caught looking up celebrities at work. We do corporate investigations and I randomly searched some lesser/D-list celebrites. The database we used kicked us out for a bit. Almost got fired, but by some miracle didn't.

We have a teacher that is always getting caught sitting at his desk reclining with his feet up and his hands behind his head. We've gotten memos about it, he's been called out and he still does it.

Then there was the guy that hit on.....other guys. He's gone though.

One of my coworkers got caught looking at everybody's paychecks. She is now an ex-coworker. ;)

Not in my dept, but there was a guy that got caught looking at porn on a shared work computer. Even after being reprimanded he couldn't fathom why that was wrong :rolleyes:

Former coworker accidentally CC'd basically the highest ranking member of our supervisory staff on an email sent to a friend about what they'd like to do to one of the recipients in the program we manage. Can't get into details because of a non-disclosure cause, but it was shockingly ill-advised.

A junior person in our organization once wrote a graphic email to a guy on the global email list he thought was a buddy, talking about his night out and how he "banged some chick". Turned out he sent the email to the director in charge with the same name. I happened to be at his desk and he showed me the email. Too funny.

I sent a video from youtube to a buddy and walked over to his desk to watch it. In the corner of my eye I saw our boss coming, but my buddy didn't. Needless to say, it was an awkward moment as we watched the funny clip with our boss and tried to make small talk.

when I worked at the airport some chick got caught banging the coca cola guy in one of the back stairwells.

I almost got caught kissing a guy in a stairwell

People got caught cheating on people all the time since ..duh! they all worked together. :rolleyes: ..


at the place i work now one of our product managers caught the lab on fire
