I was on a company's site and these days it's this whole big production where you have to fill out multiple forms and make a profile and all this stuff. So I worked on it, and it paid off! I think I finished it at 2:30 and someone called me at 5:30.

So we chatted for about 5 minutes, and wanted me to send my resume to him. So I sent it off to him. That was Tuesday. It is now Thursday. Do I call him up to "touch base" today? Should I wait for tomorrow? Or is this a sign that I'm screwed?

I mean, he did mention that since I was already full-time somewhere, he wanted to talk to his two associates. I don't want to seem desperate... but I kind of am. I need out of my current job BADLY.

So do I call him today? Wait for tomorrow?

i would say that if you haven't heard anything by monday, give them a call. it's frustrating I KNOW, but they don't have the same sense of urgency that you do in getting things resolved. maybe you could send them a little email saying that you are intersted in hearing more about any jobs that you might be qualified.

good luck!

You could call today and say, "Just checking to make sure you received my resume." And they get busy just like other people and have other things on their plate, so don't take it personal or a sign they don't want you if he hasn't gotten back to you in your time frame.

There is nothing wrong with following up. The squeaky wheel gets the oil.

You should definately follow up today and just ask if they recieved the resume and if they have any futher questions for you. It shows that you are very interested in their company and that is always a great thing.
