People who abuse their power/authority

This is just a vent, I am not really looking for any kind of resolution........I am just really, really tired of people who let the power of their position totally go to their head, to the point where they are rude, bullying and completely inappropriate to people under them.

They also completely violate every kind of policy they try to get us to enforce with the clients we work with.

What really is the worst part of all this, is that these are the type of people where you really just have to deal with it and take the abuse, even though it's not right at all, and if it was me doing the same thing to them or any one of my co-workers, I'd be fired in an instant.

Just to note, this is not ANYONE who works for my company at all...........

Yeah- the OWNERS of the company I just left. One was very much a bully- and anyone with half a brain could tell that his little ego trips were impacting the success of the company. If he doesnt get it together that firm is going to fail and soon.

Yup. Two of the higher-ups where I work are like that. It's insane...and I can't stand taking the abuse.

seen it happen, hear of it all the time..personally, i think the tables will turn one day. the ones that are big headed now usually end up working under someone else or have to face some other issues where they feel powerless..and TRUST me i would not want to be in their shoes.
