Howdy! I'm a 24-year-old guy who's been taken my quarterlife crisis across all 7 continents. Right now, I'm back at home in Cleveland and I'm directing a play entitled "I'm Not Home Right Now" by another 20-something.
It is about a college student who finds out that she is unexpectedly pregnant while living at home during the summer between her sophmore and junior years. A bit of a large quarterlife crisis that is not really confronted in the book. It explores the complex relationship between her and her mother as she struggles to figure out what to do.
If you're in Cleveland this weekend, stop on by and see it to support a struggling 20-something. It will be performed at Ensemble Theatre (located in the west wing of the Civic building, 3130 Mayfield Rd.) Friday and Saturday March 15 & 16 at 8 pm, and Sunday March 17 at 3:30 pm. Tickets are $5. The show will be followed by a post-show discussion led by a member of Planned Parenthood of Greater Cleveland.
If you would like further information, email me at ensemblecleve@aol.com or call the Theater at (216) 321-2930.
