So I have to find a way to get out of work two hours early on Monday. Do I:

a) Tell my boss I have a job interview
b) Tell my boss I have a doctor's appointment
c) Tell my boss I need to get out of work early for personal reasons
d) None of the above

Yay, good luck! I choose (c). Best not to lie with the doc appt thing, and you probably don't want to be quite that honest with option (a) in case this new job doesn't pan out. Besides, if you say you had something personal come up, most people who aren't morons won't try and pry/ask questions.

Good luck. I always say that I have a doctor's appointment if I need to leave work for any personal reason. That way your boss really can't ask you any more info on why you have to take the time off.

I also would go with the Dr. appointment excuse. Very easy to be vague with that.

Just say you've got an appointment. You don't have to say that it's with an interviewer.

Thanks. I've been telling the guys at work that I can't wait for my doctor's appointment. lol

EDIT: And Coach said she wants to go to the movies next week.

I had a friend's boss ask him to bring in a Dr note for being out one day. Apparently he was at the Dr too much :) I always just say I have an appt. Most people don't ask for more, but at least if it's vague, you can make it up later if you have to.
