My brother's moving to Burlington next year, and I thought as a gift I'd get him some gift certificates and stuff to local restaurants or recreational places so that once he gets there he'll have more incentive to get out and see what's in town. Also, I'm planning to take a trip out there soon, when hopefully I will be able to start to put this gift together. I've been there a few times, but I don't really know the town. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should do or see while I'm there and/or anything I should look into for my brother?

I live in Burlington. Check out www.sevendaysvt.com for things to do and listings of restaurants, etc. In the summer here there are tons of outdoor activities such as festivals, farmers' markets, and concerts. The waterfront is a great place to hang out when the weather's nice.
