What 80s toys should they make for us now in "our size"?
My vote is for Big Wheels. I can imagine everyone in the street having a good time (I would have to go back to my parent's house & go down the "big hill" in the neighborhood - that rocked!)

Oversized Bigwheels would rock. I had a red bigwheels with black tires. I loved the little compatment in the back that you could put your "stuff" in.
Amen to Big Wheels. How about light sabers for the office. Imagine how we could just cut through office politics with a light saber. Instead of trading condescending emails, wecould just challenge the offender to a dual in front of the entire office.
Yeah - that would rock!!!

I always planned, when I got my first apartment, that I would set-up a Lite Brite in the living-room with something cool on it; a palm tree, cappuccino cup, martini glass, even just Tori Amos! I'm in a bachelor now, but when I get a one bedroom, you bet your asprin one will be set-up in my living-room!

Live Action Barbie?
I like Layback's challenge idea. We do that here sometimes.

That just reminded me, Barbie & Ken split up. They must be very unhappy in my parent's basement, stuck together in the same box, fighting over who gets the Dreamhouse, pump action jacuzzi & remote controlled sportscar....

...run off with that hussy friend of Barbie's. What was her name? Skank? Or something like that?

LOL I bet he ran off w/ Midge, Barbie's redheaded cousin. Let's just hope he didn't run off w/ Skipper, Barbie's teen sister.

That's the one. I heard that was the reason for the split in the first place and that the police are investigating Ken because of he and Skipper's recent trip to Mardi Gras. There were some potentially unlawful happening on Barbie Bourbon Street.

Well, Skipper doesn't have much in the chest department, so I doubt she got in trouble for flashing for beads.

Maybe Skipper's just a dirty girl?

...but the real problem is she's got a real problem with meth. She's been arrested 8 times for buying Sudafed in bulk, and she's had three apartment fires in the past two years. After the last one, at the Imclone CEO's private estate, her high-powered connections were revealed leaving the market for Imclone shaky. Sam Waksal called Martha Stewart...and Skipper was forced into hiding as the Feds moved in on Martha. I hear Ken's joined her in the witness protection program (I mean...has ANYONE seen that guy lately???), and they'll be making no future appearances, unless Skipper should turn up on Girls Gone Wild for the fifth time.

ok back to the original topic... 80s stuff. i have to say that i am pretty much obsessed with 80s music. i think it is the only kind of music i want to listen to right now. i have the 80s station from shoutcast plaing on my realplayer right now. "when smokey sings" is on right now, it's great.
i think that is why i am so fired up about that new band "the darkness." they are awesome. if you haven't seen it, check out their video "i believe in a thing called love" on yahoo music. LOVE IT!

I believe in a thing called love (falsetto) just listen to the rhythm of my heart - ;)
Yeah I like that song too but they don't play it here too much. I love 80s music - I'm on a real Tears for Fears kick lately.
