Need help

As many of you know, I was involved in a hit and run accident when I went home for Mardi Gras. I was able to get that person's plate number though. Does anyone know if there is a website where I can obtain info about that person with their plate number? It was a Mississippi license plate. Thanks.

Did you make a police report and contact your insurance company? If the police made a report and there is an investigation, then they should be able to run the plate for you and find the jack ass that did this to you....sorry :(

You're insurance should be authorized to investigate that. You might start by calling the Department of Motor Vehicles for the state of Mississippi. Maybe they can help or tell you who can.

I have to wait up to 20 business days to get a police report from the New Orleans police department :redface:

I was just wondering if there were something I could do before then. My insurance company appears to be taking their time about the whole thing.

If you filed a claim with your insurance company they should be taking steps to have your vehiucle repaired and they will go after the other car.
