body lotions and sprays that the fragrance is really not your cup 'o tea? I seem to get a lot of these during the holidays and they are collecting dust in my linen closet. I can't really "re-gift" either because there's no one I know who would really want them. I guess this can also go for many other things that are just "sitting around". What do you do with stuff you don't want/need? I AM planning to have a yard sale, but probably not until the spring..........

Ha, I have the same problem. I haven't had to buy body wash in over three years because I get so much of it every holiday season from people won't don't know me well but feel obligated to buy me something.

As for the other scented stuff that I know I'll never use (unlike the body wash, which I keep and use), I usually either bring it to white elephant gift exchanges or donate it to the thrift store. It drives me crazy to have that stuff just sitting around.

I just got rid of a bunch of mine on freecycle (through Yahoo groups). I posted it (all listings there are for things to be recycled- so you don't get paid for these items), and then people email you setting up a pick up date/ time.

this is an interesting post.....i usually take the ones i'm not going to use and put them in a basket and use it as decoration in the bathroom or on my bedroom dresser.....or i give them to relatives who might like those particular scents....

I had a feeling someone would suggest that. Honestly, thanks for the tip but the Freecycle for my area is very large and too overwhelming to keep up with if you can believe it.............too much email to sift through basically.
