My primary source of income, while lucrative relative to the time spent, has not been requiring enough of my time lately. This is leaving me with very little income at the end of each month.

I have spent, what feels like, every remaining waking hour trying to improve my situation to no avail. I even tried starting a little entrepreneurial project, which did make some money, but not enough to show that it could ever become a viable business.

And now I am feeling burnt out. Without anything to show for it. I am faced with the question of whether it is best to keep on pushing with the dream of finding additional income, accept living on a pittance while enjoy my remaining time, or give up what I do have and rethink my employment strategy completely.

I really don't know what to do, but I'm not sure I can continue to work so hard with no return.

Is changing jobs for some reason not an option?
