I am having several problems with my camera.
#1) in the past few months, every time I go to take a picture, no matter what setting it's on, I have to hold the button down FOREVER in order for it to take. Sometimes it doesn't even take. It just makes all these green boxes come up and the camera goes 'bloop bloop' and nothing happens. Even my electronic savvy friends can't figure this out.
#2) when I want to put my pictures on my computer, I plug the camera in and select 'select and upload' (or something like that). I select the pics I want and hit 'transfer.' Today I selected and transfered 22 pics. (the box even said 'you have transfered 22 pictures'). But when I go into 'recently added photos,' only, like 8 are there. This has happened the past several times I've uploaded photos. If I go back to the beginning and select the ones it missed, I get a message saying that those photos were already transfered. WTF?
#3) Once the pics are transfered, I guess they are only transfered onto the EasyShare software? I mean they are not on my computer. I have to click and drag or copy and paste them onto 'my computer' or the Z drive or something. And sometimes they just won't go. I don't understand this. My sister and my boyfriend are both pretty good with stuff like this and they can't figure out a way around this.
My computer is almost 9 years old...it's a Dell...I don't know if that would have anything to do with these problems.
I have looked at the 'owners guide' but it's only, like, 3 pages long and filled with so much technical lingo I don't even understand it. I think I can go online and download a troubleshooting guide but what the hell? Shouldn't that be included when you spend almost $200 on a camera and accessories?
Plus, I didn't think these things would be so difficult to conquer...
