Hi, this is my first time at this web page, and I can't tell you how happy I am to see that I'm not the only 20-something in the middle of a crisis here...
I'm 23 and graduated college on december of 2000, I used to work for CNN Mexico and, after a year suddently fell so unconfortable with the work enviroment ther I had to leave, I spent 6 months looking for a new job and nothing happened, until this february when I finally nailed one, I was SOOOOO happy... but the thing is, I think they make me work seriously too much for the amount of money they pay me and my boss keeps making sexist comments about me and my job. So, I'm not as happy as I used to be here. Do you guys have any advise for me? should I quit this job even if I don't have another one lined up? (I really hated the six months when I couldn't find anything)
Thanks
Sayu

I know how it feels to have a job that you're unhappy with. Whatever you do, don't quit until you have another job lined up. It won't look good to have a time gap on your resume and then have to explain to employers why you left the job---and then there's the money factor. No job, no money. Keep looking for a job in the meantime and hang in there. Best of luck!

Sayu,

I'd be interested in talking to you sometime (e-mail) about your job experiences. I worked in the broadcast journalism field and hated it. Now I'm a secretary trying to break into something that will utilize my skills.

E-mail me through the board!
