Hey does anyone know if there's a group on Long Island already? Or is anyone interested in starting 1 w/ me? It's so hard to relate to people I used to be "best friends" w/, everything is changing so fast. It's about time someone recognized how tough it is to be a twenty-somethinger. Please let me know if you're interested!:p

How long are you going 2 be on LI? I guess we'd have to figure out where 2 meet, how 2 get people involved, & that kinda stuff. I'm pretty shy so I couldn't go up 2 strangers or anything. I dunno, if u're gonna be on LI for a while & wanna give it a shot, e-mail me, Sweetie685@aol.com

What about a nyc group? Could you guys come to the city? I've seen threads below of a lot of people interested in a nyc group?Just a thought...

I'd rather not go all the way to the city, but I'd be willing to if I don't get many responses from people on LI (which so far I obviously haven't!). Is there a definite group in the city, or its just in the works?

hi.. i litterally JUST registered. I'm on Long Island and would be interested in a group. blonde- I know exactly what your talking about- I came home after four years of being away from people i used to spend all my time with in highschool. Its so hard to try to hang out with them as if nothing has changed. We've all grown up so much and its been so hard getting used to it.

Hi. I live in Queens, but my boyfriend is in Nassau County. I usually spend weekends there, so I am totally into the idea of getting together and meeting new people.

if anyone from LI wants to do some something, I'm game (assuming I can go home on a weekend).

I know this is a really old thread, but I am bumping it back up, just out of curiosity to see if we have anyone new or lurking from Long Island.

I have a lot of friends on Long Island whom I went to college with, but eventually lost touch with over the years...that's cause I'm a native Western New Yorker and graduated from a state university.
Shout-out to Michael Cacioppo in Amityville...if you ever read this man, I'm sorry I lost touch. Shout-out to Casey King in Uniondale...miss you guys.

I'm on the island as well, and relatively new here (other than knowing about it for a long time.)

Welcome new people! I'm actually a transplant to the island. I love the place we live though and if it's up to me, will stay here for a long time. I don't want to go further "north" from here LOL. I just feel then like I'm still in Queens.
