You know what really upsets me is that...
My brother who is 21, didn't finish highschool makes more money then I. Here I am, finished highschool, almost done with my degree and he makes more then I. I think I have a great job and felt for once I was on the right track with my career. I know money isn't everything..but it still gets me upset that someone with no education can make more money! I guess I just have to pay my dues here and it will come! What even makes me more made is that he rubs it in my face! Brothers..gee

You wanna hear another story about someone who didn't get a degree yet was making an insane amount of money?

Take, for instance, the VP and CFO at my last company. I don't know how the woman made it as far as she did, aside from making having good drinking buddies in the business. Networking definitely paid off for her!

She was making upwards of $80,000 at this company and never had her college degree. Tons of experience, but no degree, which is fine if you know what you're doing and can gain the respect of your employees. But she never earned that cause she did not know anything about her job, yet somehow managed to schmooze her way into the company.

She was absolutely out of control. She had to hire freelancers to come in when her people were on vacation because she didn't know how to do their jobs. And as far as we know, the only true duties she ever really had were playing everyone's mother (clean up the kitchen, don't be late), putting her signature on financial forms (even though she didn't understand what they were for), and planning company parties, oh and let's not forget the mandatory Halloween costume party.

Heck, they could have paid me the $80,000 and I could have done her duties as well as mine!
