ok so they'll be a bunch of people at the nyc group...myself included...which is great...if there actually is one...we still dont know...and i really hope there is because i'm not the kind of guy who is able to start these kinds of things...unless someone knows a nice little coffee shop with big tables, free refills, and late hours where we can all meet up and have our own little snl coffee talk and discuss...

So did you guys meet up? How did it go? Any plans for future meetings? If so, I'd love to attend! I live just across the river in Jersey. Please PM me if anyone wants to get a group going.

Hello everyone. I just finished the book last night and thought I would check this site out. I was just reading some of the previous comments and wanted to know if there's a group of people here in NYC who meet on a regular (or not so regular) basis? I'm always interested in meeting new people.

Just curious whether anything was ever decided about a New York City group??? Anyone up for it? We could meet somewhere casual and just make it happen to begin with... (that is, unless something else has been decided already!)...
Would love to meet others suffering from the quarterlife crisis!
Cheers,
Heather

Heather:
I have to be honest with you...I posted that message of mine in February and it appears that yours was the first response since then. As far as I can tell, though, nobody actually meets. If you're ever in the city, though, and want to discuss our quarterlife crisis', let me know. If not, I wish you the best in getting through it.
Cheers,
Greg

Hi Greg,
I actually moved to the city several months ago and just didn't change my profile so it says I still live in Pennsylvania! Anyway, if you're up for getting together and starting our own little QLC group (hey, 2 people is still a group!) feel free to email me directly and we can work something out - heather@nomadchick.com.
Cheers,
Heather

Ok, so it's about time the New York group officially formed, so here we go: the first meeting (a sort of planning meeting for those of you interested in being part of the development of the group) will be at V Bar, 225 Sullivan St., New York, 7pm.
Email me for more information! And bring friends! And PLEASE let me know whether you plan on coming or not, so I can look for you at the bar and let you know if anything changes...
Cheers,
Heather

Oh...that's too bad...If it were on a weekend, I would think about Metro-North-ing it down, just to meet up with some more QLC'ers.
Good to see people are doing stuff, though! :)

Hi Jen (and everyone)
the next meeting for QLCers in New York will be on Wednesday the 20th at 7:30 at the Cosi on 31st and Park. Greg and I will be there as well as some other people who have shown interest. We might wind up getting more as there will be an article about the book and group starting in New York in this sunday's Newsday (so check it out if you can...).
Hope to see you all there. Greg and I are really excited to make this group into something really vibrant and thriving in New York - we have all sorts of ideas on how we can all help one another get through this time and come out the other side all the better for it.
Let me know if you're going to be coming along so we get an idea of how many people to expect. Hope to see you on the 20th!
Cheers,
Heather

Hey everyone - I will totally lead a support group if you all will come to it! I don't mind organizing things, keeping track of people and planning stuff. It seems like there are people looking for a support group, but nothing is happening. I don't know about you all, but I'm new to the city and turning 26 this week and I WANT to make one of these things happen! Email me at warnerea@care2.com and I will contact you.
